The Beginning
Halo started humbly in 2023, stitching together sauna hats by hand, fuelled by nothing but belief in a better way to recover. What began as a single prototype in an abandoned room became the seed of an idea: to create performance gear that would let athletes and sauna lovers unlock their full potential.
The Development
In 2024, we moved from small-batch experiments to true production. Each box stacked high in our early warehouse wasn’t just inventory, it was proof that a movement was building. Word spread fast, from Bondi to Australia-wide, as people discovered that Halo wasn’t a “nice-to-have” accessory, but essential gear for lasting longer, recovering faster, and protecting what matters.

Now, in 2025, Halo has grown into a brand worn by athletes, recovery seekers, and sauna communities across Australia. What started as a vision is now a culture: performance-driven and science-backed. What is a sauna hat?
A sauna hat is a specially crafted head covering made from thick, natural wool felt that protects your head while you’re in high heat. In the sauna, heat rises and can cause your head to overheat long before your body is ready to finish the session. A sauna hat works by insulating your scalp and shielding it from direct heat, helping regulate temperature so you can stay in longer, sweat deeper, and recover better. It also protects hair from dryness and breakage, supports even circulation, and makes the overall sauna experience more comfortable and effective.

Establishing not just high quality apparel designed to help you extract your true potential, but also a community of likeminded individuals who share the same journey towards self mastery.
